AIS PREP |
|
AIS PREP is a six week program that students participate in for three consecutive summers. Over the three year period, students take a series of classes with a mathematical, logic and reasoning foundation; this includes an intentional and consistent emphasis on application and problem solving. Students are prepared to take advanced math classes in high school, thus creating opportunities to successfully pursue S.T.E.M studies at the high school and college level. The Pocatello site is a DAY CAMP, we do not house students so you must be local to apply.
Program is free to all qualifying students coming from families with income limits at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. |

In 1979, Dr. Manuel P. Berriozabal, a professor of mathematics at the University of Texas at San Antonio, founded the Pre-freshman Engineering Program, to identify high achieving middle and high school students with the potential and interest in becoming scientists and engineers. PREP successfully developed into a nationally recognized program known as PREP USA. Following the award-winning curriculum of PREP USA, Utah Valley University UVU PREP in June 2013, and later AIS PREP was introduced.
